 Camp Maxey, Paris, TX - This summer’s
encampment officially commenced this morning as staff began preparing
for basic cadet arrivals. The Logistics and Admin departments have both
been set up by their respective staff. GSARSS and Comm. School are
already here as well. Most importantly, the kitchen crew has prepared
and organized the supplies for all of this week’s meals.
 After the nice storm Friday afternoon it has
cooled off considerably and has remained in the low 80s but cloudy and
humid. Despite the gloomy weather the staff’s spirits remain high as
they eagerly await the arrival of the basics tomorrow morning at 0900.
