SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Recently, the Civil Air Patrol Honor Guard from the Lackland Cadet Squadron was called upon to present the colors for the San Antonio Silver Stars (Women’s National Basketball Association) during their first game, on May 1^st, 2008. The Silver Stars played against the Houston Comets at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.   The Honor Guard was commanded by C/SMSgt Kris Kerr bearing the American flag.  C/AIc Micah Jones had the honors of holding the squadron’s Civil Air Patrol flag.  Primary rifleman duties were carried out by C/SSgt Nicole Miglis as secondary rifleman was C/SSgt Katherine Sommers.  A job well done by the Lackland Cadet Squadron Honor Guard in view of hundreds of spectators.
